Account Manager

I’ve been working in the IT industry for over 18 years, and my role as an Account Manager is a career I enjoy because everyone needs IT, it plays a critical part in the way modern businesses operate. My customer base is built up of a range of businesses from schools through to corporates. Working alongside schools allows me to combine my industry knowledge with my personal interests, as I’m a family man with two young daughters at school.  I recognise that technology plays a central role in education and I’m glad that as an account manager I’m using my industry knowledge to help schools benefit from modern technology. The variety of schools, businesses and enterprises I work with compliments one another and has enabled me to develop an extensive product knowledge range.  

My positive approach is something I like to bring into the workplace, my colleagues can always hear me before they see me (my humming and singing is a giveaway)
sharing my positivity around the office. These positive and friendly qualities are attributes which I transfer into my role as an account manager. I aim not just to be
a source for IT supplies, but a friendly voice on the other end of the phone.

My customers would describe my account management style as positive, reliable and honest. I always put my customer first, which is why I invest a lot of time
getting to know each individual and their unique IT requirements to ensure that I find the right products and solutions which best fit their business. Transparency
in the service I deliver is important and is a key factor which has allowed trusted relationships to develop and last.
